Looks fantastic. I am a bit hesitant at getting excited over the story given the shambolic quality of KZ3, but this definitely looks like a step forward.

I was always astonished that GG never really introduced much scripted scenes beyond a few explosions or enemies appearing at certain times. The franchise was literally crying out for some interesting background events and characters doing more than just shooting at you. Finally we see some civilians and are getting an insight into the story through multiple characters, but I still feel they could go a lot further with it.

Just an example off the top of my head would be stumbling across a room full of Helghan playing cards and listening to a radio with their language. You can watch as they play, enter and shoot them or completely bypass them. The series needs moments like that to break up the pacing and gameplay more. Enough of the wave after wave of countless enemies without pause or any sense of purpose beyond endlessly patrolling or shooting. The game and critically the people that populate it, need more life.
