Between Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo I have to vote Nintendo.
Like most of everyone else is saying here, 3rd party goes to Square Enix.

edit: I think it would be a good idea to list the songs that make me put Nintendo at #1.  
90% of the songs in the Zelda titles
Several of the Kirby songs (such as Green Greens)
The main theme for the Fire Emblem series
The classic mario themes (from Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3, and Super Mario World)
Some great more modern mario themes (from the 3D entries and Paper Mario)
Lots of the Kid Icarus: Uprising songs
Not going to lie, I really like the Melee version of Brinstar Depths
and there's more, but it'll take some digging up.  

Out of the others, it's much harder to make such a big list of great songs (I mean between Sony, Micro, and Nintendo.  Square Enix has a huge amount to select from).

Square and Nintendo is a tie in my mind, but both of them are far over the third place, Sony. 

 

Edit: I didn't even consider MS for this, as I think Halo is their only game with a soundtrack that I care for. Although the Halo theme is my favourite music piece in any game.

That's a pretty good list, but I would add the Metroid Prime music and Xenoblade music in there.

Nintendo has always had the best music. The SNES/N64 had some of the best theme songs/soundstracks of all time. Music to me is a big part of gaming, and one of the main reasons i love playing games like Halo and Killer Instinct. Its also a reason i never got into Playstation, there own games never offer anything epic when it comes to music.

Nintendo, hands down.

nothing beats things like the GCN Rainbow Road and Mario Galaxy Purple Coins theme.
