This isn't about MSFT vs Sony vs Nintendo but certain developers do a good job at getting music. Bungie is one of them and 343i spawning from them certainly helps. Still Bungie had a better soundtrack with the original Halo trilogy imo.

Nintendo also has some pretty recognizable music a long with Square Enix.

Another developer who does a good job is EPIC Games and Konami with Metal Gear Solid and Gears of War.

There is prob tons more but i'd rank Bungie, Nintendo, and Square-Enix at the top.

Of the examples you posted - Sony. Not fussed about the God of War soundtrack, but The Last of Us had a brilliant one.

Overall - Nintendo. You just can't argue with a portfolio of classics like theirs.

I always enjoyed the Halo soundracks, so I might say MS, but SE is the clear winner considering all devs.

THIS! The music from the YS series is excellent and almost unrivaled in my opinion!

Out of the big 3 it's definitely Nintendo!

Nintendo and it's not even close. Why? Every person from the hardest core gamer to the most causal, FarmVille player knows Mario's theme. Simply iconic.

They used to be, and their music from then is still better than any of the options on the poll :p
