it it looks like rockstar is trying to make amends for the gtav issues. A new patch is going to come out soon (1.04) that will fix the remaining issues and give everyone that logged in in October $500,000. That's a good amount of money, you'll be well on your way to buying a nice car.

That's pretty good, I can finally afford my own apartment.

The online was working fine for me after the fifth day. It's just that the online isn't fun. It's poorly designed.

Atleast I'll know that if I ever do get back on I'll have $500,000 waiting for me.  Add that to my current $100,000 and I still don't care :P.

I dont think the online could have been any better on 8 year old consoles and its more fun than singleplayer imo.

I agree, but I haven't got every much money in game, so the gift might get me playing for a few more hours. 

I think it could quite fun if you didn't have to wait like 5 minutes per game and even longer if you want to get into a full game. There are just so many lobbies and loading screens. Destiny (which some have wrongly compared this to) is apparently removing all lobbies, so I hope that more people do this so it doesn't get so frustrating
