You physically stick the card in and the system plays the game locally.

locally on a television, with a dualshock 1.3, and you can't play any game that requires the touchscreen or touchpad. it's a new system, not a version of the ps vita.

Locally means the game is being rendered by the PSVITA.TV, not being streamed by a different device. If you believe it's not a vita because it doesn't have a touchscreen or touchpad, just say that instead of going all over the place.

I couldn't care less about what's inside it. it's not a vita, it's a device that (renders and) streams SOME vita games to a tv and you need a dualshock 1.3 to play it. vita is a portable device with a touchscreen, a touchpad and buttons.

In Japan yes but worldwide is unlikly



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I thought you were thinking it only played Vita games through Gaikai. Back when it was first announced lots of people were thinking this so I jumped the gun and thought you were still one of them.

never thought that (never heard about that either). I just used the term stream because i thought there were no cables but I always knew the vita tv was the one rendering.
