Wait, I thought Blu-ray wasn't needed? Guess some people were wrong.

Good thing I'm old school when it comes to games with a disc option. Third world rates in a first world country. =D

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Damn. These devs sure don't like compressing anything. The retail copy should ease the pain.

How big is this game going to be ?

Thank god they implemented play as you download, but ill still be getting the boxed copy.

Play as you download? Available from Day one? And even if, you really need a very good internet acess so it will work.

Overall, this is ridiculous. There is no way that this game needs this huge amount of data, in my opinion and it's just a waste of disksize. I hope they don't have nearly uncompressed videos again to fill up the disc.

Suddenly a 500GB HDD does not seem big enough.

Luckily Sony allows standard hard drives upgrades, and it is easy..................why Ms doesn't is mind boggling to me.

Welcome to Playstation. Killzone 3 was 41 GB and Uncharted 3 GOTY edition is 43.5 i believe. They give you value for "content" for sure.

Your post is ridiculous.................Bigger more detailed games = bigger downloads. You can preload so i don;t know what they deal is.  It will be the norm this gen.
