Thanks for your opinion but I don't care about it. Skyrim fits on one DVD. If they want to make it smaller, they easily can. They just use all the amount of space available. GTA5 also only uses 2 DVDs.  Yes, these are last gen games but even last gen games wasted space on Blurays.

 

Skyrim is last gen.................................. The next Elder scrolls won;t.

His post isn't ridiculous. If Crysis 3 can fit into under 9GB on PC, then Killzone should be able to fit into less than 50 :P

Hopefully the data is being used for something useful, and not excessively large cutscene files (i'm looking at you Uncharted 3 ¬_______¬)

Maybe they are using the Disc version which may have some of the data copied in different sections to reduce the need to search for it, like some PS3 games?

Crysys 3 download on PC have 14GB without the high-res texture pack. GTAV download is 18GB with low-res consoles textures.

I'm sure there are bigger games on PC too.

You can just buy retail if the size is an issue, I fail to see the issue. Last gen games on PC were often 20-30 GB, this is next gen they will get big/

No. Games will have download way over 20GB even on PC... GTAV download on PS3 is 18GB with shitty textures and assets.
