WTF? LMAO no, as some data is on your hardrrive you can play as it's downloading has nothing to do with your internet connection, it still plays off the drive. This is not new tech.

Theyve said its avaiilable day 1 theyve even shown it happening in there promo reels for Killzone, so not sure what your getting at, they already beta tested the tech on PS3 with TLOU. Why do you need very good internet access for it to work, once youve got the minimum at whatever speed you can start playing, if you have really slow connection, you many have to stop again i suppose,  but its sureley better than waiting for the full 50gig before diving in?

Surely if you have very good internet its less of a thing for you as it probably wont take that long to download the full game?

If games keep getting this big at this rate then we might as well forget about hoping that we could download games at a reasonable rate.

Thanks for your opinion but I don't care about it. Skyrim fits on one DVD. If they want to make it smaller, they easily can. They just use all the amount of space available. GTA5 also only uses 2 DVDs.  Yes, these are last gen games but even last gen games wasted space on Blurays.

What? LMAO, Which data is on my harddrive if I buy digital? How much do I have te preload via internet to see the title screen? It all has to do with your internet. If you are talking about the copying to your hard drive from Bluray, this is a different story.

50 GB? My god that is about 1/10 of the PS4 hard drive.

Also this is going to download really slow, nothing like the commercials...
