Haven't sales always been more front loaded in the UK and USA? GTAIV on PS3 also had better legs. With the PS3 pulling away from the Xbox 360 in total sales numbers, I don't see how the 360 version can hang onto the lead for the rest of this year, let alone actually gain a 7.5 million lead in lifetime sales.

Your comparing Pokemon X an Y (two games which will sell almost identical) vs just one game on a single platform(PS3 or 360)?...that's not really a fair comparison...but any ways GTA V will probably end up with 19 million on PS3 and 17 million on the Xbox 360 LT. If pokemon ends up with 12-14 million I'd be quite impressed..but I have a feeling the 3DS is going to have similar legs as the DS and pokemon is launching near holiday season...therefore it should be 16 million at the max.

GTA wins hands down. I love Pokemon and will probably buy X (just cause X sounds cooler in any title) sometime with the special 3DS now that they confirmed I can have a Charizard again but GTA will get a pretty good hardware boost with only 5 or 6 million next gen consoles out there by the new year.
