Nintendo are dead serious about this holiday season. I feel many naysayers are going to eat their words

They will be so wrong that they dont just eat there words, they will proceed to shit them out and and eat them again. This cycle will continue until they finallly succumb to poisoning and cease to exist. This is how Nintendo will win the generation because all the naysayers will have met there demise.

Very good bundles indeed!
Europe is also in need of something like this.

Wow they're throwing everything in there and the kitchen sink (almost), lol.

Not a bad idea, if you can't drop the price too much because it'll incur a hardware loss, then start giving away a lot of free games. They need to sweeten the deal considerably to get people to bite.

Maybe they should throw in Dragon Quest X too for the heck of it, I don't think Square-Enix would mind too much with extra subscriptions coming their way perhaps.

I don't know if it will make a difference. A PS3 is 6500 yen cheaper and offers a massive library compared with the Wii U's paltry selection.

Even the 360 is 11500 yen cheaper and has a huge library (yes, even in Japan).

The PS4 is clearly on the horizon as well and will only cost 10000 yen more than this bundle.

Bundling is obviously a cheaper way to "lower the price" than actually lowering the price and taking a loss on the hardware.

Personally, along with a cheaper price and more games, I would like a really cool Japanese Wii U LE console. That might get me to buy one.

They really should've put extra staff on Mario Kart U to have it ready this holiday. Mario 3D World really isn't needed as much since the Wii U already has NSMBU + NSLU and is getting Donkey Kong Country and Sonic Lost Worlds this holiday too (platformers are more than covered). Mario 3D World next spring would've been fine.

There is also a similar bundle that includes everything you mentioned, plus Wii Fit U with the Fit Meter

That a new console doesn´t have a library like a 7 year old console isn´t really a surprise is it? PS3 will have a decent holiday season in Japan this year but looking at the weekly sales it´s obviously on the way out like PSP.

PS4s launch lineup isn´t looking that appealing to be honest. The biggest seller is Isshin but it will be also available on PS3.

Pretty impressive bundle. But they really should have a Wii Sports Club bundle.

Now that's a bundle I could get behind.

Sadly i already got mine an launch and am not sure if I could get this in Australia at any point.
