Anyway the 3DS was selling really good before MH4 release; and don't forget that the best seller on the machine is still one of the rare game (mario land 3D) where the 3D is really helpful. Maybe a coincidence, maybe not.


Im pretty sure its a coincidence. Every Nintendo handheld ever has sold really well and Mario has always been one of the best selling games on any Nintendo device

It's not just 3D which is the reason why it's selling 400k per week, it's also because the 3DS is the most powerful handheld on the market and can render 12 billion more triangles than the Vita.
