As you can see, the rules state that a permaban can only be issued to a longstanding member if there's a consensus among the moderation staff. Both mr khan and radishhead had no idea that there was a decision to permaban soleron...and there's probably more. Soleron should be unbanned and a vote should be taken amongst all mods regarding whether to permaban him or not. #freesoleron

Oh dear.

He's Permaed? Wowkl!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

bye bye.

They didn't know because Khan and Radish are rarely ever in Mod chat.

Consensus doesn't mean unanimous.

Consensus means a majority of the regular mods + Axum and Kantor.

Axum, Kantor and the majority of the mod chat agreed to it, because Solereon kept removing mod edits, after being told continuing to do so would lead to punishment and a permaban. Last warning given by Axum himself.

When you are specifically going out of your way to hinder the mod process of the website in such a stupid and petty way and directly defying the mods.  It should be no surprised you end up getting permabanned.

Awh damn. He was a great user

Really should have let me talk to him. I knew a bit of his personal struggles, and while he was always a bit of a grump, acting out like this was probably deliberately self-destructive, that he probably would not have engaged in otherwise.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I found strange his absence in certain recent threads. And now this explains it.

What a weird thing to do (removing the ban edits) and what a shameful way to end his contribution to the site. :-/

Dude, he was waaaay past that.  He was going out of his way spamming harrassing PM's to moderators and removing mod edits for about 3 months now.  If you have issue with it, you should really just sign into mod chat and have kantor or someone else explain the whole thing to you, rather then talk about it without even remotely knowing the story.

Or hell... just check his mod history.

3 consistant months of bad behavior is far past a temporary meltdown.

Outside which... complaining about moderations outside the appoved threads is against website rules.

He was no nonsense super serial pony dude who loved Intel. Oh well. More time for him to admire Intel and Starcraft 2.
