DLing now... but it seems everyone else on campus is doing the same thing, says it going to take 7 hours. So I'm going to head over to the nearby McDonalds and download it there.

McD's was a flop. Apparently iTunes won't let me pause the download either. I pressed pause when it was about 300MB in, and it stopped the download and I had to start over again. So, it will be downloading overnight, and hopefully it is done by morning and there aren't any problems.

 Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

That is right folks! You really need to have some free time and ignore your phones for a while if you are willing to upgrade to the new operating system. The end result might not be too surprising though and even if most glitches have now been eliminated, I still believe Apple could have done better!

I still haven't got this motherfucker downloaded

Iphone is down to 15% marketshare WW. It will be forgotten by 2016. IOS7 will still be a static OS and 8,9..... yawn.

Bit of an old thread but okay... For people that didn't already know;

You don't need to delete anything from your iPhone to update iOS, if you just hook it up to a computer instead. I guess it needs that 3GB for swapping files or something, which it will do on your phone if you download it there directly. If you use iTunes however, it'll use the space on your computer instead. It'll save time too because the process is a lot faster.

Or at least, that's what I think, in any case you don't need to delete anything because I could update it through iTunes while having only 150MB free space on my phone itself.

Needless to say, one should update to iOS7 immediately. A vast improvement, probably the best update they've ever released.

Don't fool yourself, iOS (and even iOS7 as a part of it) has a bigger hardware base than all 7th generation consoles and handhelds together.

That marketshare has the most cash by far. You can get all the marketshare you want with sub 100$ phones, but that is not where the money is.
