Yeah sadly it seems to era of physical games bundled with a Nintendo platform are pretty much over.

I think with Super Luigi in the mix this is going to sell like hot cakes to parents this holiday.  Especially when compared to $399 and $499 respectively.

7 year old kid wants a PS3 with Grand Theft Auto 4.  Parent thinks the kid should be playing more kid friendly games.  The kid knows what he wants but the parent decides what they get.  If the parent just lets the kid do whatever they want, they end up naked swinging on a wrecking ball.

Nintendo starts understanding that offering many bundles doesn't necessary leed to commercial failure. It needed time, but HERE WE GO. If many bundles like this one (if it's true) are in the works for MK8, SM3DW, SSB4 and the future Zelda, it would be great.

sales are gonna rise, considerably.

Eh? Why would that be? The Zelda bundle in Europe is just as much digital as the American version, this will be too .


Agreed, but the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, ZombiU, and Lego City were all discs, so I expect more of the same.  Not being from Europe, I cannot confirm 100%, but it seems that high-speed internet is expensive and therfore not as commonly subscribed to in Europe, making large downloads annoying.  Sony has released disc based versions of products in Europe that were only available as digital downloads in North America.

Monster Hunter was never bundled here. NintendoLand and ZombiU were first-day bundles, when there wasn't any eShop support for full-game downloads on WiiU yet. They had to include retail copies otherwise people wouldn't have been able to play the games. This was the same in America and Japan. Why LEGO was retail I'm not sure. It was still an early bundle though, but I thought they already had full-game download support on eShop by then. I think they just released the game digitally later back then, now every game is either digitally released simultaneously with the retail version or earlier. Which is why Wind Waker gets a digital download code, and why this Mario bundle will as well. Also, this definitely had nothing to do with internet connectivity, as high-speed internet in (Western) Europe is actually heavily subscribed, with the highest density of users and is the best/fastest in the world.
