At one point I decided to just stop and focus on my studies.
Then Zelda Twilight Princess came out and sucked me back in XD

Not gaming as a whole, but I really haven't been into console games. So far this year, I think the only two console games I've played through in their entirety were Bioshock Infinite and a replay of Twilight Princess. The modern AAA style of gaming just isn't jiving with me, and I've pretty much retreated to portables. Hopefully, as Nintendo picks things up with the Wii U, I'll have more console stuff to enjoy since the Wii is where I did most of my console gaming.

I don't understand how one can simply, "Quit" gaming.

Honestly, I've often thought about not buying an 8th generation console.

...and then I think about The Last of Us 2, Halo 5, and Zelda U. All of a sudden, those thoughts about quitting gaming disappear, like Harry Potter when he puts on his invisibility cloak.

I was going to make a similar thread about gaming breaks. I think about quitting quite often. I just end up taking breaks, sometimes for months, once I did like 2 years. I'm currently on a break, it's been over a week. I just don't feel like playing anything anytime soon...
