Going to have to check out the sale. Had no idea that it was going on sale but I remember an article talking about adding the features that were in other releases. I'm sure the developers will be pleased with the sales of the game because this game will continue to sell even more as the userbase increases. Chalk this up as another indie success story on the Wii U and 3DS eshops. Make a quality product for a decent price and Nintendo gamers will reward you (Sorry Retro City Rampage on WiiWare (WiiWare minimum sale policies)...  You will make your money back on the 3DS..).

Wrong.  8027% of 1 is not 8,027.  You know what percent means, right?  It's out of 100.  So 8027% is actually 80.27.

Basically the sales increased by about 80x after they updated and decreased the price.

I don't think the update was the relevant part in the increase. Many people (myself included) were just waiting for the sale.

the problem with your logic is: there is no way to have this specific % boost if the sales are 0   the minimum needed to do this is 100. 

100/100*8027= 8027

80 fold sales increase  (or going from 100 to 8027) is still impressive.

Why do you say 90x?  If it increased by 100%, you would say 1x (500 x 1 = 500.  It increased by 500, so the total is 1,000).

Still have to pick it up, they seem to be rather happy with the sales (considering that they announced 3 projects for the eShop)

Pretty sure you meant to say 81.27x, which it would be very fair to describe as "about 80x".
