actually if this game came to the west on 3ds only, it could do rather well, it gt 500k on wii and mh3u did a good combine number for wiiu/3ds version especially wen you consider its a port. This is a brand new game sort of like pokemon black2/white2 vs pokemon xy imo

his numbers are a safe bet though, minimum i see is 3.75mil and FW sales will be 1.2mil-1.8mil

Yeah but it had great legs on the psp aswell so the legs are a given. We will never really know, even the sales on the chartz are way off since it was available digital on the psp aswell, its even on sale this week for $8 nz lol ( $6.50 US)

Yeah, true numbers we will never know though, since your saying the games getting heavy digital downloads we will never know the numbers. Everytime I bring up digital numbers in the past I get instantly shot down lol

Depends on whether- I mean how soon Capcom makes a superior version of the game, and for what platforms. That said, if Monster Hunter 4 remains a 3DS exclusive for at least a year, with no announcements of any other platform release, I can't realistically imagine it selling less than 3 million within the year. And if the 3DS lasts for another 5 years, and 400,000 copies are sold per year, including the inevitable budget rerelease...

It can reach 5 million. It won't look that way at first, and digital distrubution might take a few hundred thousand copy bite out of the total. But including digital copies, I can see an eventual 5 million in Japan alone. Especially since MH games don't have terrible legs even on the PSP.

I have always been rational, no matter the allegience. This is just a realistic prediction. Actually probably a bit at the high end, considering Capcom's own expectations.



well i agree with your prediction, capcom said 2.8mil in 7 months just to look good. It'll reach those sales probably before the year ends (áround 3-4months)
