That's where you guy's logic fails though. You can fund the project and still not own the entire game. It's the main installment in a franchise, so Sega can override that anytime they want by just giving Ninty the cash back if it churns out enough of a profit.

No this is exactly what Microsoft said about Mass Effect the first: “The original Mass Effect is absolutely an Xbox 360 exclusive, making Xbox 360 the only place to get the full Mass Effect experience.”

We all know how that turned out.  Though I do agree it's not leaving the Wii U.  But not because Nintendo says so.

The PS4 and One might be able to pull that off but not the Wii U. It's a journalist that can't tell the difference between 1080p native and 720p native upscaled to 1080p.

I'd love to see it but it isn't going to happen. The demo is technically VERY impressive at 720p at that framerate, certainly way beyond anything the PS3 and 360 could manage.

So?  My old netbook could run Half Life at 1080p 60 FPS.  Does that make it equal to a PS4?

It was even better as it could run Half Life. PS4 hasn't confirmed that yet.
