Yeah figures, if anyone knew they were doing this at the time there would have been a uproar lol
Ubisoft is starting to resemble Capcom too much now. I'm a big an of Assassin's Creed but I just don't need this game. Don't bloat the franchise.

I don't see a problem with this. Not everyone has any interest in getting a vita. Hell,I might get this if the price is right.I would'nt pay any more then $20 for it.
I feel bad for the Xbox gamers that the liberation tie-in with Aveline will be exclusive to the Playstation versions of the newest game. Makes it almost pointless to even bother playing liberation. Well, whatever helps, helps.

Pfffft. I wish Capcom resembled Ubisoft by heavily investing in creating new IPs.

Too late for that

How is Ubisoft resembling Capcom? This game is no different than the DS Kingdom Hearts game being brought to consoles in HD. So many people invested in the DLC of Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom only to get screwed when the special editions were made.

To me Resi Revelations came to mind. It was a game made for handhelds and felt like a handheld game (smaller in scope and scale than a home console game). Capcom decided to make a few bucks though and put it out on the HD consoles anyway.
I see this as the same. A smaller Assassin's Creed game with a side-character custom made for a handheld never interested many people. Ubisoft is just cramming it into a console version because they want to earn a few bucks from the very most hardcore Assassin's Creed fans.
According to Gamespot they have removed the touchscreen-controls, added 15 missions and tweaked existing missions. So glad i didn't waste money on a Vita for this
