Ubisoft is starting to resemble Capcom too much now. I'm a big an of Assassin's Creed but I just don't need this game. Don't bloat the franchise.

How is Ubisoft resembling Capcom? This game is no different than the DS Kingdom Hearts game being brought to consoles in HD. So many people invested in the DLC of Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom only to get screwed when the special editions were made.

To me Resi Revelations came to mind. It was a game made for handhelds and felt like a handheld game (smaller in scope and scale than a home console game). Capcom decided to make a few bucks though and put it out on the HD consoles anyway.

I see this as the same. A smaller Assassin's Creed game with a side-character custom made for a handheld never interested many people. Ubisoft is just cramming it into a console version because they want to earn a few bucks from the very most hardcore Assassin's Creed fans.

Then add Konami to that list as they are doing the same with the 3DS Castlevania, and Sony with the PSP God of War games.

It's not only Capcom who does this.

Please excuse my bad English.

Aveline's story plays into conners bloodline story. It's supposed to tie into the Playstation DLC with the new Assassin's Creed, featuring Connors Grandfather. She's probably his grandfathers lover or something. I want to know what her connection is or whether shes just a person annonymous animus agent.

Was hoping for a new Assassin's Creed Vita game... Liberation was good.

I don't know why Ubisoft bother releasing Liberation on consoles, i don't see the point now. It was a good game on the Vita but as most ports from portable systems i don't see it playing too well or selling too well because it will be out so late.

Why have them all on PC? It's not like you can use the savegame of a past game to have something in the next one.

I have 1 on the Xbox360, 2, Brotherhood and Revelations on PC and this past weekend I got 3 for WiiU (only 15€).

I'll wait to see how this upscaled port ends before thinking on getting it on a sale... on a Steam Sale given that it's only digital.

Well the main benefit is I can buy them for really cheap. For an example both brotherhood and revelations in their deluxe/gold edition will be $7.50 during a holiday sale/summer sale while the cheapest (if it ever cuts down during blackfriday) for the retail copies will be like $14.99.

Along with that I checked the prices for retail and digital for the first two games. The retail copies never went down and stayed at $19.99 throughout the year while the digital copies went down as low as $4.99.

So ya I didnt have to buy them all on PC but price plays a major factor :P. Plus seeing "Assassin's Creed" on my list of steam games is great *_* (although not important).

(I never buy games at full price and only when they are on sale)

I see.

You have a point about the price (to be honest I very, very rarely buy games at full price. I don't remember the last time that happened!), but all the AC games I've bought were between 15-20 €, which isn't bad.

why not,I'm seriously considering getting this. I have no interest in ever getting a vita and doing this perfect for people like me. I remember getting the psp god of war games, when they came on consoles. Why not squeeze out a couple more dollars out of the game? Makes perfect business sense 2 me.

I just think it will be forgotten since it will be an 18 month old port by the time it comes out.
