Forums - Gaming - So, I just ordered a Vita

Consider Buying a Hand-grip (I use a HORI but sanded down sharp edges and glued for a medium long (and perfect for me) grips for longer game sessions, you will love that!

I guess we will wait together for PSO2 localization :'-(

PS: Never do gamesharing (like some people do on forums) because it is against the contract and is not nice having the account full of games DELETED. Sony is strict about that (and of course they are right).

How big, size-wise, are the games? And do Sony require you to only buy their own memory cards?

I recently got a PS vita also, but I can't use it because it won't connect to the internet :(. I got about 10 games in my download queue.

Definitely get PS Plus. If I don't manage to sell my Vita I'm never gonna buy a game for it, because PS plus is good enough to rely on unless you want everything at launch. Off the top of my head you'll already get Uncharted: GA and Gravity rush if you sub, and I'm sure there's a few more as well as discounts.

Make sure you get PS Plus, since you'll have Gravity Rush, Uncharted GA, and Wipeout all free to download. In addition you get at least one Vita game per month.

Of course Uncharted, Gravity Rush, and Soul Sacrifice are kind of no-brainers, then. Definitely give Unit 13 a go, too. It's a great little shooter that has been sadly overlooked. It impressed me way more than Resistance or (what little I've played of) Killzone.

why can't you use it? there is no always on!

 

If you have a problem to connect while playing(i had this for some time)

you'll have to restart the ps vita(pressing the on-off button for 10 sec) several times.

Some games are close to 4GB! Blazblue was 3,3GB even some psn games after patches (escaple plan) becomes BIG!

If you don't know about game sharing don't care about that, just don't give your account id and password to anyone!

Memory cards ARE PROPRIETARY and PRICEY, search on the net for a good price, I got 32GB at at launch (importend from JAP since wasn't in europe) and I'm ok with that, I will probably never buy another one. (You will probably pay half the price I have paid XD)

About genesis collections I don't know, but there is also psp crazy taxy playable on vita but you need a ps3 to transfer that because it's not on the ps vita store.

There was a Sega Genesis Collection for the PSP but I don't know whether it's available on PSN and compatible with PSVita, should be though.



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
