Bluethooth 3.0 have the same limitation? |
Yes.
BlueTooth 3.0 is BlueTooth + 802.11 WI-FI (for bandwidth). So, the negotiation and authentication comes through BlueTooth, but the actual data transfer happens through 802.11 WI-FI.
Both BlueTooth and 802.11 have similar limitations in terms of the number of devices.

Two tv's I guess? (or 8 lol).
I want it to support 100 controllers so we can play 1 vs. 100 at home

10 player FIFA with buddies as everyone are 1 player each and going online would be pretty fucking hilarious xD

Because of the LEDs. It's impossible to display 8 when only two leds are active and you just have numbers 1 - 4. |
led 4, 3 and 1 together all lit up would add to 8! you need to play some more professor Layton :D as for there only being two lit up at once, when you connect / charge the ps3 controller all 4 flash all the time.
Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Never played Saturn Bomberman? :)
Now THIS is good news! I mean, not that I expect anyone to be able to utilize it, but I love having the option. your move, Sony!
