Call me crazy but I would like to have a dualshock 4 in future with AA battery option. The reason is my first ps3's dualshock 3 is dead. And its the battery problem. It doesnt charge and its impossible to play with it. I also wish they would have ditched six axis from dualshock 4. Apart from that dualshock 4 looks better than other consoles offering.

They just need to include a longer charge cable with the PS4 so that you can use it as a wired controller when the battery stops working good and you don't feel like sending it in or replacing it yourself.

Have you looked into getting a battery replacement?


I know changing battery can be a pain. I used to own xbox 360 back in 2008 before it RRODed. But still it would be nice to have an option or at least a wired dualshock 4.

for the PS3 you can actually use a PS2 controller if you want something wierd, the catch is you need an adapter that connects the PS2 and makes it s USB port. it connects and works like a charm. played GoW and CoD with it and its just like a DS3

Yeah. Some of my friends were using ps2 controllers in ps3. But now I have a better choice. Check out the link. Its a little bit pricy but I will be playing ps3 for a long time even after getting ps4. I have lots of unfinished games. So this controller will serve me well.

The touchpad alone gives it the edge in my view, and the smoother shape widens said edge.
The controller's blockiness and smallness of the Dualshock has always been Playstation's biggest drawback for me, and thankfully it looks like they have finally fixed this.

I wouldn't buy it never had a good experience with any third part controller.  If  where in your shoes I would buy this instead
