Forums - Nintendo - Bayonetta 2 will flop hard

Shouldn't be that hard to bring it to PS4/XB1. They could even try to kickstart the damn thing. I just know that the game will bomb because the people who enjoyed the first one aren't going to buy the Wii U anytime soon.

.......Nintendo controls everything about this game what don't you understand?

Former something....

Dat logic.

IF I CAN'T HAVE IT ON THE SYSTEM I WANT, NO ONE SHOULD.

I really am starting to hate this self-entitled generation.

us nintendo fans might be used to it, imagine if we had FF back o.O so many meltdowns!

If it was exclusive? Call me a Nintendo Wii U owner if that ever happened.

lmao! That would be funny, people cry about MH4 not being on vita and that doesn't affect the west but just japan, imagine if nintendo took FF!!! Bayo2 meltdown would look like nothing if that happened lol!!!!

I think it will around 700k Im not sure if that would be considered a flop. People tend to pick and choose what they consider flops these days.

Yea it's going to flop.

Is it 2012 again? I thought all this whining was over and done with.

Calling it right now, whatever your sales predictions are, lower them x10 and you won't be far off.

Why on earth would they release a sequel to a game that had nothing to do with Nintendo's platform? This will likely go multiplat, no way they can continue their relationship with Nintendo and the failing Wii U. I for one wouldn't buy it even if I planned on getting a Wii U. It's a slap in the face for the fans.

If there was a "slap to the face" it would be from Sony and Microsoft more than Nintendo; they didn't back the project, Nintendo did. Bayo 2 wouldn't exist without Nintendo, Platinum have confirmed this. Franchises change companies across generations all the time; Monster Hunter went from PS2 to Wii, Final Fantasy went from SNES to PS1, etc. If you want to buy new games, you have to buy a new system, it's that simple.

It's not going multiplatform, because it's funded and published by Nintendo.

Oh, and you're wrong about the none of the fans being on the platform; Bayonetta is one of my favourite 7th gen games and I will be getting it on my Wii U.

do people seriously still don't know why it is a Wii U exclusive?

It's never coming to PS4/XB1. It never will. Never. Do you biased fanboys not understand that? Platinum Games has no reason to bring it to the other consoles. Even if it sells poorly, Nintendo funded the project, so it's doesn't effect Platinum Games in any way, they won't lose a dime on it because it was Nintendo's money.

And when it comes to the bolded, how do you know? Honestly. Michael Pachter said he would buy a Wii U FOR Bayonetta 2. So most likely there are lots of others that will as well. Plus, I already own a Wii U and I want the game.

700k + Lifetime. My prediction. The game will sell, mark my words.

My penis will flop hard after I finish stroking it to Bayonetta. I don't care if the game only sells one copy. As long as I own that copy, I'm happy. Bayonetta 1 was one of my favorite games of all time!

700k-800k is my projection too. I guess by his logic that means he thinks it'll sell 70k lifetime? LMFAO.

It is going to flop. I would be willing to bet money on it.

What would be your exact numerical threshold for a flop?
