I dont think it will flop as hard as TW101 has/is doing, but it aint gonna be pretty.
500k lifetime max. This is generous, because the game has somewhat of a fanbase.

Am I the only who thinks this is going to sell well? I mean it's coming out next year and by that time the Wii U's sales will have gone WAY up (see: Epic Fall Linup and good Spring titles) and there's rumors that Platinum will port the original to Wii U to get those who didn't play the first one *raises hand* up to speed.
So with those factors PLUS the fact that Bayonetta did ok in sales with its first game, I think it'll sell well, it'll sell more than a million that's for sure.
In case you didn't know, I have a comic book called Guardians. I'm the writer/creator of it, and we have four issues out right now, with our fifth coming out soon!
We're also doing a Patreon right now for the comic, and I'd appreciate any and all help in getting it funded. If 56 people pledged $3 per issue, we'll be funded

doesn't matter if it flops. Nintendo financed the game as an act of good grace so they could lure platinum games into becoming second party developers. Im pretty sure nintendo are aware of the fact that the first game didn't exactly sell 10 million on those oh so tough hardcore consoles, so I see no reason why they'd have very big expectations anyway.
And for the record I own a wii u and I'll be buying the sequel.
All this ps/xbox owners are so much tougher than those nintendo fags cos they like those bad ass mature games with guns and tits is really growing tiresome. (But I doubt it's gonna go away any time soon)
Your loss. The demo at E3 was a lot of fun and captured the spirit of the first game perfectly.
And who cares if it flops? Kamiya already said a third game is unlikely because Bayonetta 2 is using all the ideas that couldn't be put into the first game.
Yeah I'm totally buying the sequel. And if they make a port of the first one to the Wii U I'll buy that one as well.

Funny OP. Fans should buy the game and be appreciative that Nintendo went ahead and funded the game. I genuinely don't understand your criticism.
