Each FF game is set in a different universe whereas Bayonetta 1 and 2 are linked. That, and FF only switched to Sony after a generation leap, a beginning of a radically different approach which Sony excelled through, the 3D era.
Bayonetta switching to Wii U doesn't make sense. I think it's a bad move for both the fans and the game. And hardly good news for Nintendo.

for the love of... Bayonetta 2 would not exist without Nintendo. It was not going to be made, Ninty stepped in and funded it. What part of this dont you understand?

It's crystal clear now. I thought a sequel was going to be made with or without Nintendo's involvement because the first Bayonetta sold about 2 Million copies worldwide. I appreciate the info and all but you need to chill a little.
