Forums - General - Post the best stand-up-comedy performance of all time (or just a great one) :-)

Rhod Gilbert's "Award-Winning Mince Pie" is a must-see.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I wonder if someone would post that unfunny whiny depressed guy who's jokes are all about dicks and shit.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Take that, you people!

@Wright: Ernesto Sevilla es bueno, como lo es Joaquin Reyes. Pero sus monólogos siempre me dan la impresión de que terminan mal, como si no supiera qué más decir y los acaba de golpe.

Uno más, este de Goyo Jiménez

My favorite two comedians are Louis CK and Bill Burr. But since everyone knows Louis CK, let's not waste any bandwidth with him. I'll post a video from Bill Burr, who I prefer. Check it out!

I've also tried to watch a show from Jim Gaffigan, but I couldn't watch the entire thing. His jokes were actually pretty good, but he seemed to stay on one particular topic way too long. In one show, it seemed he stayed on the gym/Gym/Disney World topic for about 20 minutes each. Funny guy, but I just don't like the format he used. It could be my own ADD requiring frequent changing of topics, though.

thx for posting some stuff guys! will watch some of it in the next days

Bill Cosby: Himself

Omid Djalili (sort of edgy, perfect timing and minority jokes that haven't been used to death but still kick)
Jimmy Carr (brilliant man, vulgar, direct and probably the world's best vs hecklers, his improv bits are amazing)
Eddie Murphy (the one and only, filthy and delicious humor)
Ricky Gervais (intelligent and satirical style, among my favourites for sure)
Michael Mcintyre (plain funny, I love his energy while some hate him for it, he is funny mostly without resorting to most stand-up go to's; dicks and racism, and deserves credit for that alone)

Out of all those, I think Carr is my favourite. He's just different, stone cold and really quick-minded.
