Or sony will regret not paying up EA.  Love of or hate them, EA has power in the industry. So does being the official console of the NFL.

Yeah...no. Sony has zero to worrty about because of Timed DLC lol.

How did EA being the official game of the NFL work out?

Sony had NFL Sunday ticket last gen. Will make zero difference. People buy consoles for games period. You can get NFL on everything, no one will by an xbox just for it. Pre-order sales speak for themselves.

Pre-orders have nothing to do with lifetime sales and the opionons of people who try the systems out. The hardcore crowd is just that, the hardcore. also being that xbox one is 100 more, people are broke and are trying to save money.  Once xbox comes down, I'm sorry they are making all the right moves and yes, NFL fans wanting all the extra's that come with xbox one is going drag a lot of people over. You seem to not understand sports. The fantasy options will bring people over. The options people have on the xbox ONE are yet to be seen by normal average people. Most of my friends are gamers but not hardcore going on websites and watching E3. the NFL will advertise them so much that you can bet it's going push the sh-t out of it. So your telling me advertiseing doesn't work. LOL

Where did I say advertising doesn;t work????

Ps4 is making all the right moves and the reaction to both consoels show that. The PS4 out selling x1 in MS dominated america does mean something, saying it doesn't is pure denial.

Sony can't advertise? They don;'t as much as MS but they don't need to.

Um...no. If Sony sells a larger amount of consoles than MS and gains they majority of multiplat gamers whom they and MS have always been after by default they would get preferential treatment without paying a dime to EA. Thats how it was back in the PS2 era. MS had to pay EA to keep their launch attractive in Europe, because they know Sony has an natural advantage there. Microsoft is now the official brand of the NFL....four hundred million goes a long way. In reality its any mans game, Microsoft is paying to get the edge on commercial perception, when the reality is in terms of multiplats they are virtually equal and price will be the key as to why there might be a disparity in the beginning.

The way I see it, Activision + EA = Microsoft, and Ubisoft + [Insert big Japanese publisher/developer here] = Sony

Sony has the Japanese publishers by default because Japan supports the home brand. They see no major difference between Microsofts product and Sony over there. The Japanese publishers treat MS mostly equally outside of Japan due to demand.

The systems are not even out yet. You guys on here are counting your chickens like they have already hatched.

The egg came first.

n nature, living things evolve through changes in their DNA. In an animal like a chicken, DNA from a male sperm cell and a female ovum meet and combine to form a zygote -- the first cell of a new baby chicken. This first cell divides innumerable times to form all of the cells of the complete animal. In any animal, every cell contains exactly the same DNA, and that DNA comes from the zygote.

Chickens evolved from non-chickens through small changes caused by the mixing of male and female DNA or by mutations to the DNA that produced the zygote. These changes and mutations only have an effect at the point where a new zygote is created. That is, two non-chickens mated and the DNA in their new zygote contained the mutation(s) that produced the first true chicken. That one zygote cell divided to produce the first true chicken.

Prior to that first true chicken zygote, there were only non-chickens. The zygote cell is the only place where DNA mutations could produce a new animal, and the zygote cell is housed in the chicken's egg. So, the egg must have come first.

Then lets wait and see. I only stated the events of the PS2 era which lead to Sony getting preferential treatment solely because of demand and not needed to pay. They don't need to pay, the people make that decision and Sony is hoping they side with them. Thats all they can do because they will not pay to be treated better than Microsoft. The only time I remember that happening was when they paid Rockstar fifty million to keep GTA as a timed exclusive on a three game contract. In the early 2000's that was a lot of money, but not so much anymore.

Do me a favor. Search on google for NFL fantasy league management and tell me if you find any mention of XBO.

Then return and continue to try and argue this is a selling point. It's a nice feature, but won't push units. Stop fooling yourself here, you're embarrassing yourself.
