believe me I am not, got burned by ms with the 360 and I don;t like their practices and their abandoning their consoles way too soon. An extra 100 for those features is laughable.

Kinect sports was great and yes it did lack in the hardcore department but families love Kinect. it's a great way to entertain more then just you and your friend. 25 million in the short time period it was out was massive. They still have wii controlelrs so they are right behine motion? The wii abrely sells and neither is the wii-u, and nintendo has not done anything in several years game wise for their motion controllers.

 

Tehy saw the writing on the wall and sales stagnate. It's a gimmick and a fad. Kinect is even worse, only MS advertising made it sell, it will never work for gaming.


Thats funny in the other thread you just told me advertising doesn't work. Which is it?

really a 3 year warranty is better then ps2 6 month warranty when they had the same if not worse problem?

Same or worse? ROFL, xbox failure rate was over 60%, ps3...less then 10.......look it up. And MS took 2 years to do that warranty after only a threat of lawsuit. By that time, millions purchased/repaired broken consoles. Anyone who says YLOD was as bad as RROD is in majoe denial.

My PS2 is 12 years old and plays like dream. Hell, my 4 year old PS3 slim crashes way more than my PS2 so idk what problems are you talking about.

Ps2 failure rate never came remotely close to the RROD, whioch was by far the worst in industry history, keep trying.

Thats quite a leap you made there, i said that ONE deal made no diff for sony in america, no where does that mean i said advertising doesn't work. Funny how your mind works.

Good for you but failure rates where just as bad. i had 4 break on me.

Later PS2 where fixed just like xbox 360 but where never warrantied like xbox. Why I will never go to sony again. If they have the problem again they already proved they will not cover it. It's not secret PS2 had very high failure rates early on in the gen.
