i must be the only person angry at this. no not because i could have saved some cash but because DAT GAMEPAD!!! =( my collection will sorely miss having you

What's so special about the Zelda gamepad? It only has a couple of small Zelda logos, no special colors or pictures or anything.

That said I really want the bundle. I'm crossing my fingers I will get hold of one. At 300 Euros it's a bargain.

that alone will have me pay $150 online for a 2nd hand Gamepad. the problems of a collector =(

What do you mean? Will people sell the Windwaker gamepad only for $150 on Ebay?

How much hardware do you have in your collection?

tbh if it gets sold on ebay it will probs be a lot more. im probably better off buying the bundle myself.

as for my collection its not very impressive, ive only recently started collecting rare/limited gaming items and seeing as im in school and unemployed i dont have much dissposable income

Umm I might end up getting one this year after all. That Zelda bundle does look tempting.

While this is very good news it's very very stupid to announce a price cut 1 month in advance, the next few weeks will be a pain to watch.

They're already a pain to watch...

Let's hope this price drop will change all that.

Even more.

I know, it's gonna be painful, but they're so low already it's virtually next stop concrete, so at least it won't be a massive drop.

Yeah, sounds like an expensive hobby.

I can only justify buying a random Collector's edition here and there of games I truly truly adore. Being a true hardcore collector sounds expensive. And must be very frustrating I imagine, when you know there's rare stuff out there that is hard to get.

Not anywhere near enough. This thing sells £50 under RRP in the UK and still no one buys it.

£100 drop would be too much

why?

GameCube was £139 at launch, wii was £179 at launch, cheap is good.

£139 in 2001 is not £139 in 2013

No but if you put it that way the 2013 PS4 is only £50 more than a 1994 PS1

I'm glad to hear they will be extending the Ambassador Program to the Wii U...

Have a nice day...

Well it's about time.  Although I wonder what September 20th will mean for retailers.  Will Nintendo foot the bill on existing units for the next three weeks, or will they still be $350?

Generally speaking, when a company drops the price on an item, retailers get that money kicked back to them.

A bit surprising but hopefully it helps things.

Youve gotta dream I guess, but I don't see this happening aadly. We'd have heard of it today.
