but wii fit is a million seller in Japan, and still sellin. From what i have heard it seems its pretty suply constrained. I agree Like it is a new Eyetoy, but the difference is, you have got Nintendo pioneering it. Personaly i think sony did not push the eyetoy enough, and thus fell short of what it could become. The truth is its not the technology that drives the sales of a peripheral/console, it the content, thatse why wiifit has the potential to be the new Wii sports of this gen. Wiifit interest me, not because of the exercise, simply becaues it looks fun, period. If the great sofware is there, people will pick it up.

 Now by seeing this thread its obvious its not for everybody, but rather than people saying they are not interested in it and moving on, you see the people go out thier way to show thier dislike, just like griffins meltdown earlier.which shows a serious biased and insecurity. I wonder if people reacted like this about the eye toy, because that was very casual oriented.

We already have threads about SSBB & SMG and unlike you we enjoy haveing PS3 and 360 owners give constructive opinions.  Not everyone will agree if a game is good or not, but debate is rarely a bad thing.

I think it is funny that you take offence to the fact that we believe that non wii owners would be much more likely to complian about WiiFit, when you state that all Wii owners would say it is great just because they own a Wii.  That seems just a bit hypocritical to me.

And one final thing scince you still don't seem to get what Bod was saying.  This is a free and open thread.  Unless you are ioi, you have no right to say who can and can't post in threads.  So stop trying to act like you run the place.  You sound more like a spoiled child when you complain that Wii owners are posting in your thread.

If you really want a thread where no one will disagree with you, then you really should go to a Playstation or Xbox only forum.  But if you want to have a valid discusion on softwear and hardwear, then this is a good place to be.  If you can follow the rules.

nope, I took offense when people claim automatically that PS360 owners will HATE Wiifit. Generalization is mostly driven by ignorance, and I can't stand ignorance.

Oh, I don't remember saying that Wii owners will say it's great, I implied that I don't need to hear what Wii owners say, because it's more likely tainted by fanboyism. I want to see it from an 'outsider's view', hence I asked for non Wii-owners.

I can politely ask fat people why they're so ugly, but the fact that I "ask nicely" doesn't change the fact that the message itself isn't nice. You told people to go away. That isn't nice no matter how politely you ask.

While you are technically correct that you didn't explicitly insist that everyone agree with you in this thread, the original post was clearly constructed as such; you said you didn't like Wii Fit, then said that everyone who owns a Wii can't respond. While a few people may (and do) like Wii Fit even if they don't own a Wii, the obvious effect of the construction you've made here was to eliminate most or all of the people who disagree with your position. It would be like starting a pro-life thread, explaining why pro-choice people are evil and wrong, and then saying liberals can't respond; there will be a few conservative pro-choicers, but clearly the purpose of such a thread would be to fuel anti-abortion sentiment.

Again, don't tell others whether they can or cannot respond to your opinions. You're welcome to simply ignore people -- I do that with several crazies that I shan't name (if you look through my post history, you'll see I've basically never responded to a few of the most active posters here, and that isn't a coincidence).

You still don't see your own hyprocicy.  From your very first post in this thread:

And we all know that all 360 and PS3 fans would never be tainted by fanboyism.  The only reason you want to hear from them is that they are more likely to agree with your veiw point.

I'm a PS3 owner and I think the balance board is a good idea but i'd say that the bundled mini games will only provide so much entertainment and will eventually become boring, just like Wii sports. However, a snowboarding game (not a minigame) or maybe an adventure game with balance board elements would be great.

 Soriku - then u mighthve to wait 7 years min. to buy it. IMO, it gonna be sold out like the Wii is for at least a year!!! U know the Americans are obsessed with getting slim
