Especially if they are pirated all over the place! Hey, if you like the game and want to play it, invest in making sure they are more of them.

I still don't get it when a PC Gamer will brag about how much the parts cost, then brag about pirating all the game online for free.

"Duuuude, my $3000 rig! and I get to RipOffBay all my games for FREE!"

Without a game, I don't think playing the hardware would be much fun.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

It does disappoint me when sales don't encourage making more of the games I love.

This is one reason why Nintendo are so awesome. They don't hide behind terrible excuses like "sales have demonstrated that the audience just isn't there" or "our games don't sell in spite of the fact that we haven't tried very hard".

They just make a sequel WHEN THEY ARE GOOD AND READY.

Tbh I get a little pissed if an amazing game I love sells horribly, because of course that means I probably won't get to play a sequel and it really pisses me off when games that are way worse end up selling way more copies.  Just some recent examples, do I think Wonderful 101 and Tales of Xillia should have got more sales?  Of course, these games were really well made imo and I get mad when games like those sell terribly, but generic military FPS games sell millions of units.  Personally this happens with me for Japanese games the most, now I know they are not targetted at a large group of gamers, but I feel like if people actually gave them a chance instead of buying shooter after shooter then they would see that they were missing.  Anyway what about you guys, how do you feel about it?

I especially agree with the bolded part.  There are a lot of people who aren't really big fans of games that brush off anything t hat looks different than what they play the majority of the time, or maybe the graphics look a little bit stupid, etc.  My best friend is one of these people.  He'll automatically get it into his head that the game isn't any good before playing it, easily noticeable by him saying it looks like crap, etc.  When he plays it, he really doesn't even give the game a chance.  He'll put maybe 15 minutes, 30 minutes at most into it,and then just quit playing saying it he doesn't like it.  I have another friend that thinks just about everything he plays is a good game.  Complete opposite.

I personally talk a lot of crap about games I'm not interested in, but when I start playing them, I keep an open mind about them.  As a Castlevania fan and Devil May Cry fan, I talked so much crap about the reboots to both games, but after playing them, Lords of Shadow is my favorite PS3 game and DmC Devil May Cry is up there with DMC3.

I don't get mad but it is disappointing though when you think about how many great franchises are ruined just to try and appeal to the mass market.  That, or just completely ignored altogether.

I just don't like turn based games.  This is true for most gamers.

Wonderful 101 looks pretty cool though, but it's on the Wii U, and there's no way I'm paying $350 for an underpowered system.

Well Tales of Xillia is an action RPG, not a turn-based game.

Looks turn based to me.

Maybe I'm not using the precise and correct term....but when a fight/battle goes off into some different screen and  you have to choose all kinds of different menu sh17, before you battle, then I call it turn based.  Maybe it has a nuanced variation from Final Fantasy 7, but the term and style is close enough for me to know that I, and most gamers don't like it.

No offense to those that do, but it is the way it is.

Art style looks good though.

But yeah.....that turn'ish style is not for me.

Yes, very. I remember when Demon's Souls first came out and I played the acorns out of it and hoped so much for a sequel. It had nice sales, but for a sequel things were looking iffy...until project dark showed up..everyone thought I was crazy saying it was the sequel! Remember it was so vague, but I knew it was a Demon's Souls sequel, call me crazy now!

Depends on the circumstances, but usually no. I can usually tell whether or not a game I like is going to do well in advance.

Have some time to kill? Read my shitty games blog. http://www.pixlbit.com/blogs/586/gigantor21

:D

I get sad

Well, seeing as generally speaking my favorite video games are usually first party Nintendo games I don't really have this problem because they almost always sell well. However, for the sake of the poll, if I really loved a Nintendo game and it sold horribly then yes I suppose I'd get mad.

Occasionally I'll be obsessed with other non Nintendo games but they always sell a ton it seems like (Guild Wars 2 was one of my most recent ones and that's sold 3-5million so far I believe which is great for only 1 year).

No, I don't get mad
