I'm certain that the next Persona is going to be fantastic because there's yet to be a bad Persona game. I'm willing to bet that FF15 will also be great because of who is working on it. Yes u can use past history to predict a game will be great but a prediction is stating what u think, not what u know.

Like u said every Persona game has been great so the next one will probably be great as well, thats a reasonable statement. But to say every Persona is great so that means its impossible for the next one to not be great, would be incorrect.

Idk I just have a hard time not calling people out when they say ignorant things and to me saying a game is undeniably going to be great before it releases is ignorant. Its just as bad as saying a game is terrible when it hasnt released yet.

Yes, me too.  But there are tons of those here.  They feed off the tears of others (well, they think they make other people cry.)  They are like have a little rock in your shoe.  Doesn't really serve a purpose other than to irritate others.  Take that rock out and give it a good polish!

Yes, they are annoying and sometimes flat out diffusional.  But like they say, "never argue with a crazy person if someone watching couldn't tell which one is crazy.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

well if you're going to like it no matter how bad at is (There certain "Fans" this might pertain to), then yes.

First you have to define what a good game is. Is it 75+ meta, is it because someone says it is, what?

Then look at track record, previews of graphics, gameplay, music, demo's, etc. Then you can say with a high probability it will be good based on certain parameters. :P

The argument was he said it is a fact that it will be the best in the series.

I agree with ur last paragraph, its possible to make an educated guess about a game but to say ur opinion on how a game will turn out is a fact, is just ignorant.

Depends what situation we are talking about. While I can't say with accuracy that Uncharted 4 will be the best in the series, I can be pretty sure it will be a fantastic game based on the outstanding track record of Naughty Dog and the previous installments of the series.

If a game is a brand new IP, then we have far fewer parameters to make our assumptions on and thus our predictions will be less accurate.

Maybe it was just me that says it.  But good one though isn't it.
