Forums - Nintendo - Developer Abandons Nintendo as Struggles Continue

Wait... wait wait wait... Most of their ports were for the ds... Their decisions has virtually nothing to do with wiiU's sales and capabilities... Are they really leaving cause of the 3ds? Cause that is some money printing machine they are leaving behind right there

Heck, even if they stayed... They won't help the wiiU since they will be making games for the 3ds which I still don't have enough time to play all the 3ds games that is coming out let alone these terriable ports

And Nintendo is "struggling" in the handheld market? Kidding me? They are dominating... Good luck guys... You won't be missed

It's not that N-Space is 'abandoning' Nintendo, it's that no publisher wants to publish games on Nintendo's platforms so N-Space (and no doubt other such developers) have to pitch those games for other platforms instead.

"There's just very low demand right now for their work through the publisher side,"

I remember playing Danger girl, It was a load of crap , the same goes for the danger girl comics (no offence to anyone who likes the comics)

I can understand the Wii U, but no one wants to publish for the 3DS?

If it's because of the WiiU, I can understand. But publishers actually holding out on the 3DS??? Bloody mind-blowned!!! SMH

Get outta here with your "reading."

I understand not hopping onto the Wii U with it's abysmal sales of late, but the 3DS? The system which regularly holds half the top ten the software chart?!

The exec must have a golden parachute he wants to cash.

Western publishers generally don't care about handheld games, and the mobile gold rush means that holds more true now than ever. Since it's unlikely that a Japanese developer is going to contact n-Space with any projects, n-Space doesn't seem to have many options.
