I'm sure it's not that bad, I don't recall critics loving the first one either. I'm gonna see it and I'm sure I'll love it. I'll let you know lol

Plenty crappy movies get hammered by critics and don't get a dedicated thread on VGchartz. Kick Ass should be considered lucky...

I loved the Kick Ass comic because of its slick writing and a couple of shocking twists but the movie kinda screwed all of that up. I checked out the Kick Ass 2 (and the Hitgirl Comic) and, while they had potential, were also lacking. I'm not surprised by the movie's reviews. Also, there are certain things in the comic that could not possibly make it to the movie.....could it?

The role Jim Carey plays doesn't really rely on him being entertaining. If it's true to the comic, you just need to like him a little bit.

Damn that's worse that most video games. To be fair though video game rating scale starts at 50% for the crappiest game even though they are rated out of 100.

The first one was.. Okay as a funny, kicking asses movie. Wouldn't doubt the second one to be worse/

never liked the first one, the second one didn't need to exist (because I don't want it )
