Forums - Nintendo - Wii U Full Potential has not yet been Realized yet

"not yet been realized yet"

That part made me lol. Anyway, this should be obvious to anyone who knows anything about consoles. No dedicated gaming hardware has ever reached its full potential less than a year after launching. Wii U games will only keep getting better visually.

Lol. Not sure Call of Duty is the best example when it comes to visual fidelity in games.

Amen.

Now, people just need to actually explore that potential and release a game that puts it on full display.

I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.

Nintendo will tap the hell out of it with Zelda U. I cannot wait. I believe that it will be as much as could go in to it.

Agree?

Brace yourself for The Wind Waker artstyle with better geometry.

Yeah, we all thought Skyward Sword would max the Wii out too, but instead we got graphical laziness. (Great game though)

Nintendo would be morons to use cel shading for the Wii U Zelda, but since they're already acting like morons...

I had to use all FPS games for some semblence of consistency.

If you want the best looking Wii U launch game,  it's this:

I don't get this thread. Everyone acts like this is obvious, yet around Wii U launch we had people around here who claimed that the Wii U is already maxed out, one person going as far as backing up his point by saying that all Nintendo consoles had been maxed out right upon their launch.

Yes, and those people would be idiots.

Amen, one of the most beautiful I've ever laid eyes on.

My point was, based on the amount a typical modern console improves throughout its lifespan, Wii U should end up producing some real stunners as it's already keeping up with 7th/8th year PS360 games in its first year.

Of course. MK, Smash and X are already good signs.

Imo Art Direction > Polygon Count and Nintendo is one of the best in the business when it comes to Art Direction

When you release game... I agree with you.

But Nintendo is not releasing games for Wii U... how many first party game Nintendo released for Wii U until now? I guee PS4 and Xbone will have more first-party games at launch than Wii U in one year lol
