Forums - Nintendo - Wii U Full Potential has not yet been Realized yet

Wii U is a “Great Bit of Kit” & “Full Potential has not yet been Realized yet” says VooFoo

The team that’s making pure chess has discussed a variety of issues surrounding the Wii U. And in the interview with Nintendoenthusiast, VooFoo says the Wii U is plenty strong and is still evolving.

Here is a snippet of the interview:

Once development is complete, what’s on the cards next for Voofoo Studios? Do you see yourself developing more games for the Wii U or perhaps even the 3DS?

“We may well look into creating some more new cool chess sets and boards later on – this all depends on the demand we get for it, we’re keen to continue supporting the game and responding to community feedback.

I’m definitely keen to develop more games for Wii U though, it’s a really great bit of kit, and its full potential has not yet been realised. I think despite its relatively slow start, it still has a great deal of life left in it – its best days are yet to come.”

I think games like Monolith Soft X and Mario Kart 8 prove the Wii U’s graphics are evolving.

Imo Art Direction > Polygon Count and Nintendo is one of the best in the business when it comes to Art Direction

This.

No system is ever maxed out  9 months into its lifespan.

Future games will blow anything we've seen on the system so far out of the water technically. X already looks well beyond anything released (and anything else shown) to date.

Thats not going to happen until the end of the gen. Thats assuming devs keep pushing it like they are doing with the PS360.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

Isn't that obvious? We have yet to see anything this system can do.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

That's kind of an enormous "duh" point to be made. I mean we've literally only seen a couple handfuls of games for the damn thing yet. We're literally not even out of the "first wave/generation" of software for it yet. So naturally we haven't even seen much at all of what the system itself is capable, whether we're talking about the controller, the graphics, the sheer disc space afforded to game size/content, etc.
