So we can clearly say Pikman was not a system seller. So far my doom predictions for the Wii U since before it came out are correct.

^Its not a system seller because of it doing bad in one "region" and decent in another?
360 numbers still steady in US. Very low drops if any, and that is without any major SW since Minecraft.

The console has only sold about 2,000 more per week since it came out excluding the first week in which it did not increase greatly. Going from 29,000 per week to 31,000 a week is so small it might not even be due to the game. You have me guessing???

I guess different things suprise different people Regarding your second question: I don't think so. There are various reasons for PS3 outselling 360 there by a considerable amount. One is that Sony does more to get sales there. Two is that Playstation has been THE platform there since forever. Combine two with one and you get a good mixture of PS domination. |
So there is no official list of countries to compare in which countries ps3 is sold and where 360? Well, that strengthens my suspicion a little bit.

I thought pikmin would save the wiiu? I guess we will have to see if Mario kart or Zelda can do it!
in other news, psp/psvita > wii/wiiu/ds
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

Lego City Undercover sold 25k this week, better than NSMBU and the bundled Nintendoland.
It may actually be the most important game on Wii U right now.

It released in Japan, hence it passing those other two for the week.

Oh, Japan, I remember that place.
I keep expecting those crazy Lego legs to show up sometime, but I guess 7k in EU and NA is nothing to crow about.

I have never seen one, at least. I don't know how that strengthens your suspicion though. Even if PS3 was sold in more countries, would that somehow be a detractor? I'd call it a win for Sony, and win for gamers in those countries. Obviously they will be praising Sony if Sony brought them gaming. |
I don't say it's a bad thing if PS3 is sold in more countries. But this weakens the arguments of "we have the better games, best hardware, best exclusives and that's why PS3 is selling more than 360!"-stuff and could boil down to "and yes, it is sold in 10 more countries". *could* be, of course. I could be wrong, of course.
Yes, it would be a win for gamers, but we are in a sales-thread, not in a "we have fun with gaming"-thread ;)
