Because they think it has more power in it . They write on it stuff like 4000 Mah , while they are actually weaker than the 1200 Mah batteries ...

I find it interesting that the automatic assumption is that it is the kids fault, or that it was a third party battery, after Sony had to recall 10 Million batteries at a cost of over $500 Million due to them exploding or starting on fire.

Its most likely an isolated incident, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't a defect in one of Sony's batteries.



Those where Vaio batteries , and they where actually not Sony batteries , Sony bought it from a small company ... PSP batteries are made by Sony , and during normal use , they never caused any incident ...
