well for one the battery didnt explode ike originialy stated in OP.

How about using bootleg batteries. Lot of people buy this crap, thinking it are cheap bargains, but in the end you'll pay a different price for it, like 1st degree burning wounds. Then Sony is nothing, but absolutely nothing to blame for.
