Wow, were you guys really expecting Pikmin to stay in the top 3 in week 2? I was expecting a bigger drop than this. The debut at #2 last week was pretty spectacular.

Did you already forget that Nintendo sold 10k WiiU consoles across Europe and Australia combined during the last 3 months? The WiiU's userbase in the UK is microscopic in comparison to the PS3 and X360.

Also Pikmin 2 debuted at 32 in the UK charts back then.

I am still surprised of how successful minecraft for 360 is! This was a great deal by MS, this game still sells like hot cookies.

People sure love their physical copies of Minecraft

Most people prefer physical copies over downloaded... that's why the discs won't die this generation yet... I prefer too because I need at least two days to download a full 5GB game.

You have to take into account the Wii U user base in UK right now: 160k

So Pikmin already sold to over 10% of Wii U owner... so the drop was expected.

Any leaked numbers?

I really didn't expect anything else from Pikmin. It will take all of the first party games coming until Mario Kart next year for the turn around to happen. They will all have to be very high quality games too. Nintendo can't afford to drop the ball again this year.

Oh well there goes the only vita game constantly on the chartz virtual tennis 4 :P

Sorta an unexpected week, bar Smurfs which went up more than I expected.

I expect the Pikmin drop to be around 40%, expected for this kind of game.
