so with ps4 costing 100 less and having much less negative press along with releasing at the same time or before MSs console instead of 1 -1 1/2 later i dont see why it wouldnt do 1M, a better bolder would be over 1.5 or even 2M

I think it's been hinted by Sony that it will not launch in Japan this year. But I think if you align the first weeks for all regions, then we could easily see 1.0m

Also, I think it could pull off nearly 1.0m without Japan.

Whatever Sony ship it will sell the first week. It will sell over 500k in Europe alone.
