Actually I feel that there will not be a Kinect-less SKU.  Kinect plays a very important role in MS plan that goes beyound just the X1.  There are some bets a company make even if it makes the system more expensive.  Blu-Ray was Sony bet and it paid off.  Kinect is MS bet.  The reason there will be no Kinect-Less SKU is because MS is commited to the device and already made a commitment that it will be a default on their new console.

People seem to feel tha the console race is a sprint.  These consoles will be on the market for a long time and MS bet is that Kinect will be the separator between the 2 devics.

The only 2 countries where the X1 can pose a threat to the PS4 are the US and the UK.

Since the PS4 will most likely sell a lot better then the PS3, I doubt that PSN+ on the PS4 will ever be as good as it is currently on the PS3.  I'm guessing most of the free games on PSN+ plus on the PS4 will be indie games or enhanced demos like DriveClub+.  Also most people don't pay full retail price for xbox live Gold since its on sale at one place or another pretty much year around.

PSN Plus at this point can only go up. As much as I hate to say it, Sony will start bringing in revenue from tacking on multiplayer to PSN Plus perks. This will help them reinvest into the online.

ps+ in it's first year was only small/indie games and expanded into full retail games when more people purchased the service.  if anything, more people picking up ps+ will only make the services even better.
