that pretty much sums it up. 

...riderz has that sig saying "ps4 is shaped like an eraser for erasing the xbone"  and i feel like its true.  the xbone revealed to the world no longer exists.  i have a feeling a kinect-less sku of the xbone will be coming at a lower price too soon enough.  the ps4 and xbone will be almost identical in every imaginable way except that ps+ is $10 cheaper than live and includes dozens of free games a year while the xbone has tv in.

It's made by Sony. Thats the only advantage it needs around here.

People will find other advantages and disregard disadvantages once its clearly labelled as a Sony product.

To some degree I agree with you.  Thanks goodness the rest of consumers can see past the Sony namebrand and buy is as a potentially awesome gaming console as we've seen with the PS3 later in its life.

The Xbox one has a TV Tuner ?? Thats the first time I have heard of that,

Despite ps4 price, power and ps plus, I think xbox one will at least, sell the same or slightly more than ps4. In UK, I expect something similar, but maybe ps4 wins with some margin. In the rest of the world, in brand power and shipments ps4 have the clear advantage, so this is where ps4 will gain the advantage in the first months, and ultimately, at the end of the generation.

On another note.

Im surprised how similar theyre trying to make it to the PS4. WiFi Direct is a cool addition though.

They also have more solid franchises to continue on walking into the next generation. Sony has create many great franchises this gen. Microsoft has to create theirs in the next gen and make them names or they are stuck in the same position as they are seemingly every gen now. The price and world-centric status of Sony vs the American-centric status of MS makes this very easy. MS never made any current gen titles in this generation that stuck.

Sony could definitely win America back. Really, thats all they need to do to bring MS back to last gen level.

- More exclusives

- Price

- Regional advantage

- Console power

That makes four.

Exclusives is one thing, but "more" exclusives is entirely subjective. Halo 4 outselling over 30 PS3 exclusives in 2012......its the big exclusives that make the system, not the sheer quanity that don't catch a big following on their own. Jus saying exclusives matter, but the number itself is arguable

Also...can we stop saying "power" is a plus? Because PS2, DS, 3DS, and Wii didn't get the memo.

Its just price and regional brand advantage. Thats pretty much it, but they are a big deal in themselves.
