| S.T.A.G.E. said: They also have more solid franchises to continue on walking into the next generation. Sony has create many great franchises this gen. Microsoft has to create theirs in the next gen and make them names or they are stuck in the same position as they are seemingly every gen now. The price and world-centric status of Sony vs the American-centric status of MS makes this very easy. MS never made any current gen titles in this generation that stuck. When we add it up: - More exclusives - Price - Regional advantage - Console power That makes four. |
Exclusives is one thing, but "more" exclusives is entirely subjective. Halo 4 outselling over 30 PS3 exclusives in 2012......its the big exclusives that make the system, not the sheer quanity that don't catch a big following on their own. Jus saying exclusives matter, but the number itself is arguable
Also...can we stop saying "power" is a plus? Because PS2, DS, 3DS, and Wii didn't get the memo.
Its just price and regional brand advantage. Thats pretty much it, but they are a big deal in themselves.
