I just loved exploring Albion with this artstyle. It created the best atmosphere I experienced this gen:

Just by looking at it, I could start it again.
They created such a beautiful world and it really pulled me in. This is something only a handful of games can achieve and I don't care about resolutions, polygon count or anything else, when the art behind it is that amazing.

Right?! :D

Funny story, when I've bought the PS3 in 2011, this was one of the first demos I've downloaded. The best I have seen before was Oblivion on medium/low on PC and Resistance Fall of Men, so imagine my face when I've started the demo, and those amazing visuals absolutely blown me away :D I was like, we have never been that close to realism ever XD

Probs TLOU, the lighting is amazing BUT... UC3 has a wider viarity of locations too show off the graphics

Killzone3 runs at a rock solid 30fps with 0 screen tearing...cant say the same for crysis

(Gawd damnit, have to avoid posting some beautiful yet spoilery shots XD)

Runner up which might just look visually better due to the more linear and closed nature of the game compared to TLOU.

It's a close call.

Really impressive texture work on a PS3.

Desert sequence is by far the best looking level on any game in my opinion. Including TLOU. Its ultra linear however, so thats why :P. Loved it from a story perspective too!

And a last shout out to:

these little thumbnails aren't good representations. Stretch it fullscreen, and certain games that look better in the thumbnails look like crap when blown up fully.

But uncharted 3.

DmC has some stunning graphics too.
