Forums - Nintendo - The Official Pikmin 3 Thread-Questions, Thoughts and Opinions inside! Did you pick it up?

This game oozes enjoyability.

You know, I think the only thing holding the Pikmin franchise back (in terms of sales) is the lack of an identifiable "mascot" type character that people know by name. It's something people tend to associate with Nintendo games. They should name one of the Pikmin "Willard" or something and I bet sales would spike.

Very true. I can't really disagree with anything you  said there.

Get ready for Pikachumin in the next game, coming 2022.

Reading some of the reviews, I don't think they match the scores.

They don't really give negatives and most really enjoyed the experience and are hungry for a sequel. I'm sure that if Bulborbs had bled when attacked, the protagonists had been manly men with beards, and if Pikmin had been maimed when bitten, scores would have been higher. *sigh*

So beautiful *_*

Very nice! Are they in-game or from the advert?

In-game. From the japanese Miiverse community.

really, really beautiful....and remember: This game started on the Wii (as you can see by looking at the ground textures)

They're excellent, truly next-gen if you ask me...can't wait!

Also, I agree that the reviewers have no real complaints, yet they are scoring heavily. I guess it's just harder to impress people nowadays.

Seems to be so. I can't await Pikmin 4 fully developed on the WiiU. Pikmin 3 already looks stunning, the only real weakness being the ground textures. Pikmin 4 will be glorious (if we see a release on the WiiU) *_*

Is that why?  I knew something was bothering me.  "Wow, those plants are amazing, and those rocks are ... huh?"

Still, that amphibian creature is one of the best things I've ever seen in gaming.  I want one that will just sit there and look at me exactly like that.

I thought the flower was better, actually...but that frog thing is pretty nifty as well. Can't wait to see it in motion!
