Microsoft always said they wanted to win, with how they are doing things they are not only losing this gen, but the future as well. Would they drop the price so soon if they wanted to lose?

As long as people try to argument with me, I will respond obviously.

I have more than 8 years of Xbox gaming, I kinda grew to like the brand, seeing it go this way pains me.

I'm actually responding to your comments on the situation. 

you said that it's best if microsoft leaves the console market and go pc if they continue on whatever path you feel they're on.  you basically implied that they wouldn't be successful in whatever way if they went on like this.  in that context, I'm disagreeing with you.  I wasn't bringing spencer's comments into this conversation.

But having all "exclusives" on PC and only western games, imo, will never make Microsoft win. Which was what I was talking about :p

Let's hope there's enough games of all genres in abundance for all Xbox owners. That means a lot of jp games.

Stop exaggerating just because you aren't happy about your situation and decision to buy an XBO.  Just sell your XBO and by a used PS4, it's sometimes hard to understand how you seem to be so unhappy like every second day about the situation but you change nothing about it and just complain more and more in this thread and that since months.... everytime I come in this thread and read some posts I missed I get to read a post of you who is once again just unhappy^^ 

Yes, there are some people who left Xbox to PS but most of them have other reasons for that. Xbox has clearer disadvantages in power this time (I mean, 360 often had the better multiplat versions, now almost every game has some technical advantage on PS4), 360 had a great price advantage to PS3 (this gen XB even had a disadvantage the first months) and 360 released especially in Europe much earlier as PS3 so that some bought a 360 early and their friends as well then because many buy the console their friends own so that they can play together. Not to forget the really bad press MS got before XBO release...

That are all advantages the 360 had against the PS3 and without these advantages, the 360 sales would have been lower last gen and since XBO doesn't really sell worse as the 360 did, it also doesn't seem as if everyone runs away from XB to PS. Some fo my friends did but more because of the points I mentioned. But one is already back to XB since he wasn't really happy with the Sony games.

The amount of people who would buy an XBO instead of a PS4 if XBO would get more Japanese games shouldn't be very big. I mean, who exactly would do that except a few guys on the Internet? It's not as if we speak about 20 million people or something...

And about the PC things, well some don't need an XBO if they can play the games on PC but it's all about connected devices and services on this planet atm, people can't expect that the gaming industry won't be part of this. 

And people say there's no arguments or differing opinions in nation threads xD

first off, I highly doubt exclusives like scalebound, halo 5, gears of war, etc. will go to pc.

second, xbox one games aren't all western. 

third, my comment on winning/finding success.

fourth, microsoft clearly tried very hard to get japanese devs aboard on the xbox brand with the xbox 360, going as far as to even fund first party exclusives such as LO and BD.  long story short, games didn't sell well and didn't really push the xbox 360 in japan much, if at all.  They spent million on japanese dev support, to no avail.  Why would they even take that risk again this gen if they clearly know that the strategy doesn't pay off for them?
