I think "moneyhatting" for some indies works different as for games of big devs, it can be enough to say them "we will really push your game on our conferences and shows seen by millions if you won't release it on another console or only x time later". To me a few games feel as if that happened and No Man's Sky is one of them. I mean, I think the console exclusive Indies are always those Sony pushes hardest and not because they come only to PS but because that's the deal. 

I may be wrong but to me it feels like that.

People who says we are a hive mind hasnt paid much attention in this thread.  Most discussion stays civil which is the aim for this thread but there has alwyays been differing opinions.  Lots of users in this thread are multiplat as well.  

YOu guys are probably right.  I just kind of figured since they pushed their games on Sony platforms first in the past then that was the case with NMS as well.

I was just thinking about Halo: ODST.
Why doesn't MS or 343i make it like Titanfall?
MS/343i provides the lore, funds and Respawn provides the muscle (game development).
MS would get two kinds of FPS that are really popular with gamers and one more console shifting IP.

I really hope Microsoft announces an ODST sequel which takes place between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4.
