I could see Halo 5 and Gears 4 staying Xbox One exclusives for a few years before they bring them to PC, they could even stay exclusives permanently. 1-2 years sounds likely for the rest. And then there will be some that are on both at release, such as Fable Legends and Gigantic.
My biggest question right now is just how many PC devs will make their games available on Xbox One through Windows 10's universal aps. I'd love to see typical PC exclusives such as MMO's, MOBA's, and RTS games make it to Xbox One with both mouse and keyboard and controller support. If MS could make that happen I'd be completely ok with this shared philosophy since my Xbox One is more powerful than my PC right now. However if they're just going to take exclusives from Xbox One and not give us many former PC exclusives in return, that would totally bite.

That's the thing I have an issue with currently, see I want to buy an XB1, I got over what happened in 2013 and how they replaced Don with Phil and all that but for months on end I'm seeing the XB1 losing it's exclusives to PC and other platforms which to me devalues the console in my eyes generally because I value what the console holds in terms of unique exclusives the same way I look at PC and other platforms, all platforms have their own exclusives but losing some isn't really a good thing, sure there's more players to play the games but you have to think about the value people see in the money they spent when they find it's of less value.
Currently I'm only gaming on PC (with 3DS) and I'm waiting for Wii U to go down a little futher in price, they already have exclusives I know that aren't going anywhere and ones I'd want, I'm also waiting for the same to happen for the XB1 but really I'm seeing this mixed distortion of promises for XBox gamers and then a swing around peace offering stolen from their console to offer towards PC gamers like myself, I don't mind it but it's not really a full on unique effort from them, it's simply taking something unique they crafted/gave to XB1 owners and simply lied and try to make face with PC gamers that they've ignored for a few years.
I'd much rather phil stick to his guns and make XB1 exclusives stay exclusive, hold them down and batten down the hatches, make new studios and games for both PC and XB1, they killed off their famous studio that made the PC exclusive Age of Empires series, PC lost an exclusive franchise and part of the genre when MS killed them off, Halo Wars was their last game which was 360 exclusive (that and a Halo style MMO planned), that effectively got them canned when it sold poorly compared to other RTS games.
I know you think it's fair for both platforms to exchange exclusives but really I;d rather them retain their own and MS just craft for both, Sony was able to do it with the original PSP and at the time PS2-PS3, I'm sure since MS has more money they could do this and it would benefit both instead of simply benefitting one side, that and you also have to think that if PC loses recent MS exclusives then I'd start to feel I;m wasting money on newer hardware that MS wants me to sport to run their games the same way it would be to buy an XB1 and lose it's exclusives, it goes both ways really.
That said I'm happy with all the announcements so far, not really into all those indie games and I'm pretty sure most will go to Steam (unless Phil sticks to the guns), loving the DX12 news especially though.
